Vic Books & Cafe has been around since 1975, we’re the original social enterprise – our returns go back to Victoria University students. Our customers come to experience our unique vibe and culture as well as to enjoy great coffee and browse our extensive selection of fiction, non-fiction, New Zealand and children’s books. The key purpose of the Inwards Goods Administrator is to receive, process and distribute stock between Vic Book’s three locations. You will also be responsible for any logistical support required by our outlets, including a morning van run between locations. Based in our warehouse, this role is a vital part of our day-to-day operations and requires someone with initiative and the ability to work independently.
This role is a minimum of 30 hours per week – workload is dependent on time of year and will be more during busy periods.

This role reports to the Vic Books General Manager. This role works closely with the bookshop teams across both sites.
Role also requires interaction with the Kelburn Store Manager, book buyers, bookshop staff, suppliers and customers.
